What types of hydraulic breaker tool bits does Fel-Tech carry?
Fel-Tech stocks the three tool bit types most hydraulic breaker jobs call for: moil points, chisels, and blunts. Each is shaped for a different kind of work, so picking the right one comes down to whether the job needs penetration, a directional cut, or compaction without breaking the surface.
Moil Points

Moil points end in a sharp, tapered tip. They’re built to concentrate impact energy into a small point, which makes them the right choice for breaking up concrete, rock, and other hard, unreinforced material where you want to fracture and penetrate rather than cut along a line. Moils are the most commonly used tool bit for general demolition and rock breaking work.
Chisels

Chisels have a flat, wide cutting edge instead of a point. That edge lets the operator direct the break along a specific line, which is why chisels are the go-to bit for asphalt cutting, trenching, and jobs where a controlled, directional break matters more than raw penetration.
Blunts

Blunt tools (sometimes called flat or tamping tools) have a flat face with no point or cutting edge at all. Instead of breaking material, they’re used to drive, compact, or tamp — for example backfilling trenches, compacting soil or aggregate, or driving posts and sheeting — without punching through the surface the way a moil or chisel would.
